CODE OF PRACTICE

General ...
Our code embodies the minimum requirements and is already part of our working lives. The code deals with the relationship between our customers, and their shortcomings with regard to (DOT) and HomSS. The code helps us explain how we see our role in providing our services, operations and how we wish to resolve difficulties and non-conformities as soon as possible.

The code will be updated whenever changes in legislation demands.

We will present strategic and complex concepts effectively to our customers as we believe in ensuring that everything we say or do is easily understood and readable and reflects the utmost integrity. Where legal terms are used we will explain them adequately.

Responsibility taken by  HomSS  ...
HomSS does not accept any liability with regards to commodity design non-compliances with legislation. We do however pledge to help resolve any such non-compliances.
 

The contract between HomSS and the MIB will be implemented within 2 (two) months of the subscription (as made possible by the MIB).

(Some data will be added to the manual ASAP on availability and cost.)

Confidentiality ...
HomSS confirm that they will treat customers' information in accordance with the Information Act, Act 2 of 2000.

Responsibility for Data ...
HomSS will take due care of any data provided.

Monthly subscription fee of R..... for a minimum period of 3 (three) years;

Any increases equal to inflation;

3...

Travel costs at AA rates as adjusted from time to time and, in addition

Fair and reasonable accommodation expenses as incurred from time to time;

Double work at R350.00 per hour or part thereof;

The extra cost for scanning of documents, stationary and computer equipment on request of the MIB will for the client's account; and

7...
